When you are open to life, things happen at the right moment.
I was approaching middle age and dreamed of having a dog. Then I met and fell in love with Shatzi. He became my muse and changed my relationship with the world.
With Shatzi as my ambassador, our daily walks became a rediscovery of nature and moments of engagement with strangers that otherwise would have never happened.
I have learned much about myself and the life around me as reflected by my relationship with this special animal. I have come to know first hand that our connection to the animal world can be powerful and life-changing
As a jewelry artist, I was inspired to create JouJou b, a collection of I.D. jewelry for people and their animals to honor Shatzi, my first dog and teacher.
